FLARE U Turns Into 'Healing Fairies' for Member-Created "LOVEHOOD" Film
FLARE U is taking a hands-on approach to its next comeback, beginning with a prologue film built around the members' own ideas.
The group released the video for second mini album "LOVEHOOD" through FNC Entertainment's official social media channels on October 7.
In the film, the members become a group of fairies who visit people struggling with everyday problems, offering small acts of comfort along the way.
They help people stuck in traffic, wipe away the tears of those having difficult moments and look after workers who have fallen asleep after long hours.
As they help others, the fairies gradually build up their capacity for love before flying off toward a wider world at daybreak.
The concept originated with FLARE U's members, who participated directly in the video's early planning stages. The storyline also continues themes introduced through their debut album "YOUTH ERROR," which explored the uncertainty and imperfections of youth.
This time, the group shifts its attention toward learning how to care for others, using the fairy characters to explore different expressions of love and comfort.
"LOVEHOOD" follows the experiences of a boy encountering love for the first time. The six-track mini album will be led by title track "Bloom."
Ahead of the release, FLARE U will hold a special busking performance at Everland's Rose Garden on October 14 at 5 p.m. KST.
The duo will release "LOVEHOOD" later that day at 6 p.m. KST.
