ZEROBASEONE Is Keeping Busy Together, Apart and in Pairs
ZEROBASEONE is expanding its activities beyond group releases, with its five members taking on solo music, acting, broadcasting and unit projects.
The group, consisting of Hanbin, Jiwoong, Matthew, Taerae and Gunwook, is continuing its group activities while developing individual projects across different areas of entertainment.
Sung Hanbin, who has built experience as an MC on programs including Mnet's 'Street World Fighter: Directors' War,' is preparing to release his first solo album on October 12.
Kim Jiwoong has also been pursuing music independently, releasing monthly solo singles while expanding into acting. Some of his upcoming projects include the film 'Siren,' which currently has a working title.
Seok Matthew has been connecting with audiences outside music through his personal YouTube channel 'Hey Bye Thew' and his current role as a promotional ambassador for Visit Seoul.
Meanwhile, Kim Taerae has continued contributing to drama soundtracks and other music projects, including a tribute marking the 50th anniversary of Sanulrim's debut. Moreover, he has also taken on hosting responsibilities through music podcast 'Suseok Research Society' and MBC FM4U radio program 'ZEROBASEONE's Close Friend.'
Park Gunwook has been balancing his role as an MC on Mnet's M Countdown with songwriting and production. He contributed his first self-written song, "Customize," to ZEROBASEONE's sixth mini album "Ascend-."
Beyond their individual activities, Matthew and Gunwook have also begun developing music together as EMP, ZEROBASEONE's first official unit. Having released their debut mixtape in September, they now prepare a digital single scheduled for November.
Both members have participated directly in songwriting, composition and production, giving the unit a creative direction distinct from ZEROBASEONE's group releases.
With solo releases, broadcasting commitments and EMP's next project approaching, ZEROBASEONE's five members are continuing to build individual careers alongside their activities as a group.
