K-POP group BTS leader RM has asked fans to stop gathering outside the group's hotel in Perú, saying the noise is disrupting sleep for members and staff and disturbing other guests. He shared the message on the fan platform Weverse on Oct. 8 as the group continues its world tour through South America.

"We're in Perú right now. It's my first time here, and I'm excited and happy," RM wrote, greeting fans across South America.

"The members and staff are having a very hard time because of the people who stay outside our hotel all day," he continued. "The noise reaches inside the rooms, and everyone is having trouble sleeping. We're also causing a major disturbance to other guests staying at the same hotel."

RM thanked fans for their enthusiasm but stressed that getting enough rest is essential for ahead of the shows. "We're grateful for your warm welcome and passion, but if we can't get enough rest and sleep, it affects our performances with you," he wrote.

He extended the request to other destinations on the tour. "Not just in Lima, but also in Chile, Brazil, Argentina and the countries in Asia we visit afterward, I hope you won't keep staying outside our hotels. Please."

"I trust that ARMY, the most amazing fans in the world, will understand and refrain from doing this," RM added. "I hope we can build a more mature relationship that we can both be proud of."

He closed by reassuring fans about the upcoming performance. "We'll do our best at today's show, too. Thank you always, and I love you." He also added "Los amo," Spanish for "I love you all."

Following the group's stop in Bogotá, Colombia, BTS is holding three concerts at Estadio San Marcos in Lima on Oct. 7, 9 and 10. The group's "BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG'" will then continue through Chile, Argentina and Brazil before heading to Asia.
