Song Kang Returns to Seoul for First Korean Fan Meeting in a Year
Actor Song Kang is set to reunite with Korean fans for the first time in about a year. His agency, Namoo Actors, announced that he will hold "2026 SONG KANG FAN MEETING PLAY, SONG KANG IN SEOUL" on Dec. 5 at 6 p.m. KST at the Woori Bank Hall inside COEX Artium in Seoul.
It will be his first fan meeting in South Korea since "ROUND 2," which he held last year after completing his mandatory military service.
The title "PLAY, SONG KANG" is meant to frame his past projects like a playlist, revisiting his filmography the way a listener revisits their favorite songs. The music theme also is connected with his most recent drama, "Four Hands, Two Sonatas" (Pohaendeu), which wrapped in October with a peak rating of 9.4 percent and centered on classical music.
The event poster is also build around that concept. Song Kang faces the camera against a backdrop with a sheet music, with musical notes and a play button worked into the design.
Namoo Actors said Song Kang has been preparing diligently for the event despite his busy schedule, hoping to give "Songpyeon," his official fan club, a memorable day. "We hope this fan meeting becomes a meaningful day for both the artist and the fans, and we ask for your interest and support," the agency added.
Before meeting fans in Seoul, Song Kang will go to Japan for a series of fan meetings. He is scheduled to meet fans in Tokyo on Nov. 12 and 13, followed by Osaka on Nov. 19 and 20.
Fan club presale tickets for the Seoul fan meeting opens Nov. 28 at 8 p.m. KST, with general sales on Nov. 30 at 8 p.m. KST through NOL ticketing.
