NCT WISH's Busy Weekend Pays Off With First K-POPIT BOARD Top 10 Entry
NCT WISH has broken into K-POPIT BOARD's top 10 for the first time, following a busy weekend of music shows, a festival appearance and fan meetings.
According to K-POPIT BOARD, the K-POP analytics index, NCT WISH ranked No. 4 on the Oct. 19 Domestic Rise chart with a Power Index (PWR_KR) score of 66.7. The group also placed No. 9 on the Global Rise chart.
NCT WISH first entered the top 10 on Oct. 15 and has remained there since. The group even reached No. 1 domestically on Oct. 17, making this its first sustained run in the rankings.
The timing coincides with promotions for the group's fourth mini album, "I SPY." NCT WISH began its music show appearances on Mnet's "M Countdown" on Oct. 15, the same day it entered the K-POPIT rankings, before taking the stage on MBC's "Show! Music Core" two days later.
The group's television appearances were followed by a performance at NOL Festival at KINTEX in Goyang on Saturday evening. There, NCT WISH performed eight songs, including "I SPY," "Sticky," "poppop" and "COLOR," giving audiences a mix of its latest release and earlier tracks.
The performances came as NCT WISH recorded a Viral Conversion Rate (VCR) of 100, the highest on K-POPIT BOARD. The metric tracks how effectively YouTube attention translates into Spotify streaming, suggesting that interest in the group's performances and related content is extending to its music.
The members kept up the pace on Sunday, holding four sessions of their mini fan meeting, "What Are You Doing on Sunday?," on Oct. 18. The events gave fans opportunities to interact with the group through performances, conversations and other activities.
Alongside those fan-focused events, NCT WISH recorded a Fandom Health Index (FHI) of 40.5, a measure of fan engagement across YouTube and social media. The group also scored 98.5 in Media Attention (MAS), reflecting the volume of Korean entertainment media coverage surrounding its comeback and promotional activities.
Taken together, the activity has put NCT WISH among the week's fastest-rising artists. The group ranked No. 2 in domestic momentum with a score of 81, reflecting the sharp increase in attention it has received over the past several days.
After a weekend spent moving between broadcast stages, a festival and fan events, NCT WISH enters the new week with its first sustained top 10 showing on both K-POPIT BOARD charts.
