NewJeans Is on Hiatus, but Haerin Remains Active With Her Individual Schedule

K-POP group NewJeans member Haerin shared a glimpse of her recent activities through a new set of beauty photos. On Oct. 19, the group's official Instagram account shared photos of Haerin posing with beauty products from luxury brand D.

Haerin has served as an ambassador for the brand and recently attended events related to her partnership with it.

In the photos, she wears her long hair down in loose waves and looks into the camera. Her defined eyes and soft pink makeup stand out. In one shot, she holds a lipstick to her lips while gazing into a mirror. In another, she faces the camera directly. Her black outfit and subtle makeup give the photos a more mature look.

In August, Haerin appeared in a fashion magazine photo shoot featuring the brand's beauty products. On Sept. 7, she attended a brand pop-up event at Lotte Department Store's Jamsil branch in Seoul's Songpa district.

Meanwhile, NewJeans remains on hiatus amid its ongoing exclusive contract dispute with its agency, ADOR.

Haerin and Hyein announced their intention to return to ADOR in November 2025, while Hanni confirmed her return in December 2025. Minji remains in discussions with the agency, while Danielle was notified by ADOR that her exclusive contract had been terminated.

In July, NewJeans celebrated its fourth debut anniversary with a commemorative video featuring Minji, Hanni, Haerin and Hyein. The group has yet to announce a specific date for its return.
