SEVENTEEN's Jeonghan X Joshua Launch Concert Tour in Incheon
Jeonghan X Joshua, a unit from K-POP boy group SEVENTEEN, is starting its own concert run. The duo takes the stage on the 30th, performing songs from its recently released first mini album, "DREAMSCAPE."
The concert, titled "JEONGHAN X JOSHUA JOURNEY INTO 'DREAMING'," runs for three days at Inspire Arena in Incheon, from the 30th through the 1st of next month. Tickets for all three shows sold out on the day the fan club membership presale opened. Fans who can't make it in person can watch through an online livestream.
The show is built around the world of "DREAMSCAPE." The album explores the line between the fantasy dreams that play out in the unconscious mind and the dreams people hope to reach in real life. The pair plans to perform new songs, including the title track "12 o'clock," with a range of stage production.
Performances by the two together are a major draw. Jeonghan and Joshua are the same age, and both belong to SEVENTEEN's vocal team.
The duo released "DREAMSCAPE" on the 19th and has since been performing "12 o'clock" on Korean TV music shows. This time around, the two leaned into a more mature, relaxed mood than in their past work.
The album sold more than 800,000 copies in its first week. That put it at No. 1 on the weekly chart of Hanteo Chart, a Korean album sales tracker. In Japan, it topped both Oricon's weekly album ranking and its weekly combined album ranking. It also hit No. 1 on Billboard Japan's Top Album Sales chart.
Incheon is only the first stop. The duo will meet fans in several cities through February next year, starting next month with shows on the 21st and 22nd at Belluna Dome in Saitama, Japan. From there, the pair heads to Galaxy Arena in Macao on Dec. 11 and 12.
The run continues next year at Taipei Arena on Jan. 9 and 10, BEXCO in Busan on Jan. 30 and 31, and AsiaWorld-Arena in Hong Kong on Feb. 20 and 21.
Fans far from Saitama will still get a look at the second night there. That show will be screened in movie theaters in South Korea, Japan, and major cities in other countries.
