ZEROBASEONE's Matthew and Gunwook Are Going "OFF script" Ahead of Unit Release

ZEROBASEONE's Seok Matthew and Park Gunwook are preparing to introduce a different side of themselves as the unit EMP, unveiling new concept photos for their upcoming digital single, "OFF script."

The duo released two sets of teaser images through ZEROBASEONE's official social media channels on October 29 and 30, highlighting contrasting visual styles ahead of the project's November 10 release.

In the first set, Matthew and Gunwook adopt vintage-inspired streetwear, posing against industrial-looking backgrounds with relaxed styling and casual expressions. The second set takes a darker approach, featuring black leather jackets and bold accessories in a space resembling a private hideout.

The contrasting concepts reflect the project's emphasis on creative freedom and experimentation outside established expectations.

"OFF script" will feature three tracks, led by title song "RUN," a collaboration with Korean hip-hop duo Dynamic Duo. The release also includes "AFTERTASTE," featuring singer-songwriter JUNNY, and "MADE YOU LOOK."

Together, the tracks are intended to showcase the members' individual musical styles and their chemistry as a duo.

EMP previously offered fans an early look at "RUN" during a celebratory performance at the 2026 Seoul Runners Festival, where the pair performed the track ahead of its official release.

Before the digital single arrives, the duo will hold a listening event titled "SOUND SEMINAR" on November 3, giving fans another opportunity to engage with the project.

"OFF script" marks a new musical chapter for Matthew and Gunwook as they explore a unit identity distinct from their activities with ZEROBASEONE.

The three-track digital single will be released on November 10 at 6 p.m. KST through major music streaming platforms.
