K-POP group RESCENE went straight to No. 1 on South Korea's major music charts right after its comeback. The five-member act released its fourth mini album, "PULSE," on the 3rd at 6 p.m. KST.

The group is made up of Woni, Liv, Minami, May and Zena. Its title track, "With," reached No. 1 on the TOP100 chart of the South Korean streaming platform Melon just two hours after release. The song also took No. 1 on Melon's HOT100 chart.

The rest of the album followed close behind. "Finest Thing," "Baekhwayoran (Inside Out)," "MEME" and "Dragon" joined the title track inside the top 10 of the Melon TOP100. On the Melon HOT100, five songs from the album lined up in order from No. 1 to No. 5.

"With" did not stop at Melon. It also hit No. 1 on the real-time chart of Bugs and on Genie Music's real-time "TOP 200" chart.

What makes the release stand out is how far the success spread across the tracklist. Both the title track and the B-sides landed near the top of Melon's main charts. On the TOP100, five songs from the album all made the top 10.

The album's title, "PULSE," refers to a heartbeat. The record centers on one moment: a song you sing for someone else comes back to you as a voice that helps you get back on your feet.

"With" follows a voice calling out and leads to finally meeting someone you have dreamed about for a long time. The song also carries the idea that all the time spent running toward that person turns into a promise to keep going together.

For RESCENE, the new era opened with more than one hit song. It opened with a whole album climbing the charts at once, across several platforms on day one.
