K-pop girl group NewJeans' "ETA" has surpassed 500 million streams on Spotify. The milestone comes as the group remains on hiatus following a contract dispute with its agency, ADOR.

According to Spotify, "ETA," a track from NewJeans' second EP, "Get Up," had accumulated 500,086,236 streams as of Nov. 2. It is the group's seventh song to reach 500 million streams on the platform.

Released in July 2023, "ETA" was one of three title tracks from "Get Up." The song features a fast-paced beat, while its choreography incorporates hip-hop and Jersey club dance moves.

Upon its release, "ETA" ranked near the top of major South Korean music charts. It also entered the Billboard Hot 100, the main U.S. singles chart. On Spotify, the song remained on the Weekly Top Songs Global chart for six consecutive weeks and the Weekly Top Songs USA chart for three weeks.

NewJeans has been on hiatus since March 2025, when the group announced a break from activities following a performance in Hong Kong. The decision came amid a dispute with ADOR over the members' exclusive contracts.

In October 2025, a court ruled that the group's contracts with ADOR remained valid. Discussions about the members' return followed the ruling.

Haerin, Hyein and Hanni have returned to ADOR, while Minji remains in discussions with the agency. In December 2025, ADOR notified Danielle that it was terminating her exclusive contract and subsequently filed a lawsuit seeking damages.

In July, NewJeans marked its fourth debut anniversary by releasing a group video and photos featuring Minji, Hanni, Haerin and Hyein. It was the first official group content featuring the members together in about one year and four months. Haerin and Hyein have since resumed individual activities, including magazine photo shoots.

However, no official comeback date has been announced. ADOR has said it will share details of the group's future activities once discussions with the members are finalized.
