CL's Reunion With Teddy in the Works? She's Set to Join ALLDAY PROJECT on MAMA Stage
Singer CL and K-POP group ALLDAY PROJECT will perform together for the first time at the "2026 MAMA AWARDS."
CJ ENM, the company behind the awards show, announced that the two acts will present a joint performance titled "STILL THE BADDEST." The stage will focus on hip-hop.
The announcement comes as CL is in talks to sign with THEBLACKLABEL, the agency behind ALLDAY PROJECT. On Oct. 28, THEBLACKLABEL confirmed, "We are discussing signing an exclusive contract with CL."
CL has a long history with producer Teddy, who founded THEBLACKLABEL. During her time as a member of 2NE1, she worked with him on several of the group's hit songs. If the deal goes through, CL and Teddy will reunite under the same label.
The ceremony will also feature a joint performance by three rookie groups: TUIDE, LNGSHOT and MODYSSEY. TUIDE is the latest addition to the performer lineup.
Their performance will follow a concept in which the three groups compete to become the biggest stars in the universe. The stage will bring together the distinct performance styles of all three acts.
This year's ceremony has adopted "A MUSIC INTERSTELLAR" as its main theme, bringing together music from different generations and genres. Organizers previously announced plans for an "ALL GENERATION" stage featuring artists from different eras of K-POP.
The MAMA AWARDS began in 1999 as the "Mnet Music Video Festival." The event was renamed the "Mnet Asian Music Awards" in 2009 before adopting its current name in 2022.
This year's ceremony will be broadcast live worldwide across major digital platforms, including Mnet Plus.
