ENHYPEN's SUNOO Wraps Solo Variety Show With Comedian Kim Soo-yong

ENHYPEN's SUNOO has wrapped up his solo variety series "My Name Is Kim Sunoo" with an unlikely new friendship, spending the final episode alongside veteran comedian Kim Soo-yong.

Released on ENHYPEN's official YouTube channel on November 5, the third and final episode brought SUNOO together with Kim, whose Korean name shares the same initial consonants as his own.

Despite their age difference, the two quickly settled into a casual dynamic. SUNOO broke the ice by asking, "Should I call you hyung?" to which Kim replied, "Let's spend today as friends."

Throughout the episode, the pair explored each other's interests and shared experiences that brought their different generations together.

They visited one of Kim's favorite restaurants, exchanged selfie-taking tips and picked out piercings before attempting to film a trending social media challenge together.

Reflecting on their time together, SUNOO said the activities had been new experiences for him.

"Everything we did on our date today was something I'd never tried before, so it was really fascinating and fun," he shared.

Kim also expressed his appreciation for the experience, saying he had enjoyed spending the day with SUNOO and felt that he was leaving with a boost of positive energy.

In a handwritten letter featured at the end of the episode, the comedian added, "I'm a fan starting today," bringing their unexpected friendship to a close.

"My Name Is Kim Sunoo" followed the ENHYPEN member as he met guests connected through their Korean names or initials and took part in activities together. Previous guests included content creator Mimiminu, whose real name is Kim Min-woo, and actor Lee Sang-yi.

Meanwhile, ENHYPEN is preparing to release its spin-off single "THE SIN : PARALLEL WORLD" later this month. The music video for title track "I Want You" will arrive on Nov. 13 at 11:59 p.m. KST, followed by the digital release on Nov. 20 and physical release on Nov. 23.
