Korean rock band Dragon Pony is heading back to Japan early next year. The band will play its solo concert "2027 Dragon Pony Concert 'Calling back' in TOKYO" on Jan. 10, 2027, at SHIBUYA CLUB QUATTRO in Tokyo's Shibuya area.

The trio is made up of Ahn Tae-gyu, Kwon Se-hyeok and Go Kang-hoon. The concert takes its name from "Calling back," a single the band released earlier this month, on the 5th.

Fans in Korea get the first look. Dragon Pony will hold concerts in Seoul on Dec. 5-6 before taking the show to Japan.

In Tokyo, the set will be built around the band's live sound. The members plan to play their own instruments and sing live, bringing the same music they have performed at home to Japanese audiences.

Japan has been a growing focus for the band this year. Dragon Pony started its activities there with "Run to Run," its first EP released in Japan. The band then went on its own tour, "Dragon Pony 2026 Run To Run JAPAN TOUR," with stops in Tokyo and Osaka.

Off the stage, the members also promoted their music in Japan through radio appearances and magazine features.

The Tokyo date is the band's second solo outing in Japan this cycle, coming right after this year's tour. Dragon Pony plans to keep meeting music fans there through next year. For a band that leans on live playing, a return to a club stage like this one is a steady way to turn a first tour into a lasting audience.
