WENDY of K-POP girl group Red Velvet is coming back with new solo music. The singer will release her fourth EP, "Gleam Hour," on the 23rd.

WENDY posted a release schedule for the album on her official social media accounts at midnight KST on the 9th. The comeback comes about one year and two months after her third EP, "Cerulean Verge," which came out in September last year.

According to the schedule, pre-orders for the album open on the 9th. She plans to roll out the tracklist, concept photos and concept films one by one. A highlight medley and music video teasers will follow as the release date gets closer.

On the 22nd, one day before the release, she will hold a listening session for fans. The event gives fans a chance to hear the new songs before they officially drop. WENDY plans to use the session to introduce the album to fans first.

"Gleam Hour" starts from the idea that every stretch of time we live through carries its own kind of light. The album follows how feelings shift over time. It also looks at how past experiences and memories come together to make a person who they are today.

Her last EP did well on global charts. "Cerulean Verge" reached No. 1 on the iTunes Top Album chart in 16 regions. It also made the Top 10 of Apple Music's Top Albums chart in nine regions.

Since going solo, WENDY has released music across a range of genres. This time, she is building an album around time and memory. More details about how the record comes together will arrive through concept content and the highlight medley before release day.

"Gleam Hour" is out on the 23rd. Pre-orders begin on the 9th at 3 p.m. KST through major online music retailers.
