G-DRAGON Closes K-SPARK Kaohsiung Before 50,000 Fans
G-DRAGON headlined the finale of "K-SPARK in Kaohsiung 2026" on May 30 at Kaohsiung National Stadium in Taiwan, performing in front of approximately 50,000 attendees.
Known as a large-scale festival which has led the expansion of K-pop within major cities in Asia, 'K-SPARK' events have been held in other countries such as Bangkok, Hanoi, Kuala Lumpur and Macau. For Kaohsiung, GDRAGON appeared as the festival’s main headliner and event organizers announced that the tickets for this specific event sold out within 30 minutes of going on sale.
Opening his set with "POWER," the singer continued to perform a grand selection of tracks across his extensive repertoire. These included "HOME SWEET HOME," "TOO BAD (ft. Anderson Paak)" and "Crayon." G-DRAGON closed off his set with a performance of “Crooked” before addressing the crowd.
"I am grateful for the passionate energy shown by the audience in Kaohsiung," and "I will carry this enthusiasm into the upcoming world tour."
This appearance follows a series of multiple international performances, including K-SPARK Malaysia 2026, Coachella in the United States and the KRAZY SUPER CONCERT in Dubai earlier this year.
Currently, the artist is preparing for BIGBANG’s upcoming new album which will mark their 20th anniversary later this year alongside a wide-scale tour as a group titled “BIGSHOW: REBORN.” Taking place in August and starting in Seoul, the global music market will continue to present focus towards him and his activities in the upcoming future.
