BTS' 'SWIM' Ties 'Dynamite' Billboard Global Record
BTS continues to dominate the U.S charts with "SWIM," extending the track's run on top of Billboard's global rankings.
According to Billboard's latest charts dated June 6th, BTS' title track "SWIM" from their fifth full-length album "ARIRANG" remained at No.1 on the Billboard Global U.S chart for a fourth consecutive week. In total the song has now accumulated eight weeks at No.1, extending its record as the longest-running chart-topper of 2026 so far.
With this achievement, "SWIM" has tied the group's previous 2020 record of most weeks spent at No.1 with their hit "Dynamite," doubling the four chart-topping songs achieved by artists such as Bad Bunny and Taylor Swift.
"SWIM" continued to achieve more, gaining six places on the Global 200 chart placing at No.4 and jumping 11 spots to No.44 on the Hot 100 chart. This marks the song's 10th consecutive week on the main singles chart within the U.S even adding several radio-based rankings such as charting on Pop Airplay at No.13 and Radio Songs at No.25.
Meanwhile, ARIRANG has maintained its strong charting performance on the Billboard 200, placing No.9 and extending its stay in the chart's Top 10 to 10 consecutive weeks. Furthermore, the album also ranked No.4 on Top Album Sales and No.18 on Top Streaming Albums. Lastly, on charts such as the Vinyl Albums chart, ARIRANG was able to rebound seven places all the way to No.6.
BTS is set to continue their global activities in the United States later this year. They will take the stage at the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Festival on the 18th of September at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. BTS will join a lineup of artists including Cardi B and Snoop Dogg. This comes after the group took home the Artist of the Year award at the American Music Awards. Furthermore, the group is set to continue their BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG' in Busan’s Asiad Main Stadium on both June 12th and 13th.
