Jennie Reaches New Hot 100 Peak With “Dracula (Remix)”
BLACKPINK member and soloist, Jennie, has reached a personal best on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart with her “Dracula (Remix)” collaboration.
According to Billboard’s chart dated June 13, the collaboration between Jennie and Australian rock-band Tame Impala, rose four places up to the 10th position from its previous 14th on the Hot 100 Chart. This rank becomes Jennie’s highest position on Billboard’s main singles chart to date.
Originally released as a solo track by Tame Impala in October of last year, a duet version featuring Jennie was released on February 6. The song gained a lot of momentum on the charts as Jennie’s contribution was officially recognized and thus her name was added onto the track’s chart credits. This began from the chart released on April 4 where the song ranked at the number 24 slot.
Beyond the charts, “Dracula (Remix)” has been able to maintain a strong presence across Billboard’s genre-specific rankings. It has remained at the top of the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart for 22 consecutive weeks. Furthermore, it has also held the top spot on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart for five consecutive weeks.
Jennie's latest achievement extends her successful run on the U.S charts as she continues to expand her presence as a solo artist within the global music markets.
