Lee Jae-wook Debuts as Singer While Serving in Military

Actor Lee Jae-wook is stepping into music while serving his mandatory military duty. He released a live clip teaser for his new song "SHADOW" through his official social media channels on Thursday at 6 p.m. KST.

The teaser shows Lee performing the track live with a backing band. He holds the mic and focuses on the vocals as a short clip of the new song plays.

The single is Lee's first release since he enlisted in May. Im Seul-ong of the vocal group 2AM helped produce the project, which includes two tracks in total along with the title song "SHADOW."

"SHADOW" is about the feelings that linger after a relationship ends. The song is built on a band sound that frames Lee's vocals.

Lee has built his career through a steady run of acting projects. This release marks his first move into music.

Lee currently stars in the ENA Monday-Tuesday drama "Doctor Som Boy" (Dakteo Seomboi). His debut single drops Thursday at 6 p.m. KST on major streaming platforms.
