K-pop group CORTIS has notched another music video milestone, a sign that the buzz around the HYBE act is holding well past its initial promotional run. The five-member group's track "ACAI" passed 10 million YouTube views around 3 p.m. KST on June 10, 30 days after the video was uploaded to the HYBE Labels channel on May 11.

"ACAI" is the second song from the group's second EP to clear the mark, following the title track "REDRED," which swept domestic and international charts. The crossover is notable because CORTIS, made up of Martin, James, Juhoon, Seonghyun, and Keonho, wrapped a seven-week run of music show stages weeks ago. The numbers are still climbing anyway.

The song is built around an unusually personal hook for a K-pop release: the members' shared love of açaí bowls. The lyrics lean into that with playful lines about cravings and toppings, but the framing is more pointed than it sounds. The track uses the idea of an açaí bowl that tastes good even without flashy toppings as a metaphor for becoming an artist with real substance. Every member of CORTIS worked on the song, and Martin and Seonghyun are credited as producers.

The music video was built from animatics, or storyboard videos, that the members drew themselves. The creative ideas from those early drafts carried straight into the final cut, with the members' loose, comic facial expressions giving the video much of its character. The choreography, also led by the group, has caught on for being easy to copy.

That hands-on approach across music, choreography, and visuals is the core of CORTIS's "Young Creator Crew" identity. The shorthand version of that phrase, "Young CC" (영크크 in Korean), has spread on Korean social media as slang for a young, stylish crew, especially among Gen Z and Gen Alpha users. The term has effectively turned into a trend tied to the group itself.

CORTIS is now heading into its first solo tour, "2026 CORTIS TOUR <PUT YOUR PHONE DOWN>." The run opens July 18 and 19 at Inspire Arena in Incheon, then moves through nine cities in August and September, including Seoul, Toronto, New York, and Kanagawa, Japan. The North American dates went on sale first, and the membership presale sold out on June 9 local time.

The group will also play Lollapalooza Chicago from July 30 to August 1 as the only K-pop boy group on this year's lineup, a booking that points to where CORTIS is being positioned next. For a rookie act still inside its first year of release cycles, that is a fast climb, and the "ACAI" numbers suggest the audience is already there to meet it.
