Stray Kids' Han Drops Self-Written Solo Track 'back to life'
K-POP group Stray Kids member Han will release his digital single "back to life" on June 11 at 6 p.m. KST. The track first appeared as a video on May 9 through the group's in-house project "SKZ-PLAYER," posted on its official social media accounts. The official audio release follows about a month later.
Han wrote and composed "back to life" himself. The song mixes a rough edge with a calmer, more lyrical mood, moving between bold and quiet sounds across the track. The lyrics center on a promise not to lose himself. The music video released in May put that message on screen. It shows a stance of pushing through hardship to step back into the world, with scenes of Han playing instruments himself.
Stray Kids has been steadily putting out work through two in-house projects, "SKZ-PLAYER" and "SKZ-RECORD," which both showcase the group's musical range. "SKZ-PLAYER," in which members take part in writing songs and planning music videos, is built as a window into each member's personal style. Starting with Han's "back to life" this year, all eight members will release new songs one by one. Tracks that do not get a standalone official release will later come out on the digital album "SKZ-REPLAY," as previewed earlier this year at "Stray Kids 'STEP OUT 2026.'"
Stray Kids also performed as a Day 2 headliner at The Governors Ball Music Festival in New York on June 6 local time, playing to a crowd of about 45,000. In September, the group will take the stage at Rock in Rio in Brazil. That same month, Stray Kids will launch a new festival of its own, "STRAYCITY," with stops in Bogotá, Colombia; Buenos Aires, Argentina; and Mexico City.
