K-POP boy group BOYNEXTDOOR has landed at No. 1 on Japan's Oricon Daily Albums chart with its first full-length album. The record arrives as the six-member group closes in on another million-seller back home.

According to Oricon's latest chart dated June 10, released on June 11, BOYNEXTDOOR's debut studio album "HOME" sold 136,278 copies on its first day in Japan and entered the Daily Albums ranking at No. 1. The group, made up of Sungho, Riwoo, Jaehyun, Taesan, Leehan, and Woonhak, has now placed every release on the Oricon chart's upper tier, including its five EPs and two Japanese singles.

"HOME" gathers the emotions and experiences the members went through during their trainee years and after their debut. All six members took part in writing the album. The group is credited on the autobiographical tracks "06070" and "Remember Me," as well as the fan songs "I Wonder" and "I Wonder, Always."

In Korea, "HOME" has sold 973,060 copies as of June 11, according to Hanteo Chart, putting it on track to become the group's fourth million-selling album after its third, fourth, and fifth EPs. The album also held the No. 1 spot on Apple Music's Top Albums chart in South Korea and Taiwan from 8 p.m. KST on June 9 through 8 a.m. KST on June 12. It reached the top 10 in 11 countries and regions, including China, Japan, Indonesia, Turkey, and Singapore. The title track "VIRAL" entered Melon's daily chart on release day and has stayed on the ranking for three straight days. The song also placed at No. 20 on Spotify's Daily Top Songs chart in Korea on June 9 and at No. 9 on Apple Music's Daily Top 100: South Korea on June 10.

The group's stage performances are drawing attention as well. BOYNEXTDOOR appeared on Mnet's "M Countdown" on June 11 to perform "VIRAL," working through group choreography, paired sections, and a dance break. The performance showed a different mood from the group's previous promotions. BOYNEXTDOOR will continue activities on KBS2's "Music Bank," MBC's "Show! Music Core," and SBS's "Inkigayo."
