Singer EVAN, Former member of ENHYPEN is preparing to launch a new chapter of his career with his first digital single, a self-written and self-produced project that pairs two very different sounds.

On the afternoon of the 13th, EVAN shared early demo clips from the upcoming single "RIDE OR DIE" through his official social media channels. The preview included two tracks: the title song "Ride or Die," which shares its name with the single, and the B-side "Overflow." EVAN wrote, composed, and produced both songs himself. Putting the demo versions out before the official release signals how hands-on he is with the project.

The title track "Ride or Die" puts EVAN's distinct vocal style at the center. Built on a pop-rock base with hyperpop elements layered in, the song sits in alternative rock territory and pulls together a mix of musical ideas. The lyrics follow someone asking another person for love as those feelings keep growing, and they also carry a message aimed at his fans.

"Overflow" moves in a quieter direction. The B-side is an indie pop track driven by softer, more restrained sound. As the title suggests, the song captures the moment just before water fills a glass past its edge. EVAN compares the shifting emotions inside a person to water rising in a glass. He leaves the ending open instead of spelling out a clear emotional resolution, so listeners can read the song as comfort, sadness, or something else depending on where they are in their own lives.

EVAN will release the digital single "RIDE OR DIE" on the 22nd at 6 p.m. KST across major music platforms. The title carries the meaning of staying with someone all the way to the end. With this release, EVAN plans to set the tone for his personal sound and lay the groundwork for the music he wants to make next.
