BTS Extends Billboard Run With 'SWIM' in 12th Week
BTS is keeping its grip on the Billboard charts. The group's single "SWIM" has now spent 12 straight weeks on Billboard's main rankings, with its parent album still placing high across multiple categories.
According to the latest Billboard charts dated June 20, released on June 16, "SWIM," the title track from BTS's fifth studio album "ARIRANG," sits at No. 43 on the Hot 100. The album itself lands at No. 11 on the Billboard 200.
"SWIM" also ranks No. 2 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart. The song has stayed in the upper tier of that chart for 12 weeks in a row and reached No. 1 for the eighth time on the June 6 chart. That is the most No. 1 weeks for any song released in 2026. It also matches the longest run at No. 1 on that chart, a record BTS set with "Dynamite."
The single shows up across Billboard's airplay and adult-leaning charts as well, charting at No. 16 on Adult Contemporary, No. 13 on Pop Airplay, and No. 24 on Adult Pop Airplay. "ARIRANG" places at No. 7 on Top Album Sales, No. 22 on Top Streaming Albums, and No. 16 on Vinyl Albums.
Older releases continue to chart too. BTS has three albums on the World Albums chart this week. "Proof," released in 2022, sits at No. 8 in its 209th week on the chart. The group's fourth Japanese studio album, "MAP OF THE SOUL : 7 ~ THE JOURNEY ~," is at No. 17, and its third Korean studio album, "LOVE YOURSELF 轉 'Tear,'" comes in at No. 25.
A new BTS track is already building momentum. "Come Over," released on June 12, won Billboard's weekly new music fan poll with 86 percent of the vote. The song also debuted at No. 11 on Spotify's Daily Top Songs Global chart dated June 12 and sat at No. 22 on the June 15 chart.
The group's next major stage will be one of the biggest of the year. BTS is set to headline the halftime show of the 2026 FIFA World Cup final on July 19 local time, performing alongside Madonna and Shakira. In a Billboard fan poll asking which artist they were most excited to see perform at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, BTS finished first with more than 8 million votes.
The numbers, the chart history, and the World Cup booking all point to the same thing. BTS is heading into the summer with the kind of global pull that few acts in any genre can match right now.
