ATEEZ Drops Thriller-Style Trailer for Comeback

K-POP boy group ATEEZ has unveiled a thriller-style trailer for its upcoming comeback, one week ahead of release. The group's agency, KQ Entertainment, released the music video trailer for "BAD," the title track of ATEEZ's 14th EP "GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5," through its official YouTube channel on Friday.

The clip opens with member Yeosang seated in front of a hypnotist. Wearing the expression of someone shaken by a nightmare, he answers the question "What did you see?" with "I saw the red light." As he speaks, a glowing object called Sopuru flickers into view.

The trailer then shifts to Yunho flipping a card to reveal the word "SOPRO," while the Sopuru floats and circles around Yeosang. The faces of the other members pass by in quick succession, each looking disoriented, before the video closes on Yunho jolting awake under a flash of light.

Throughout the trailer, a mysterious caped woman draws the gaze of the members. On-screen text suggests every strange event began after her arrival, paired with a warning that pulls the viewer's attention toward her.

The 14th EP is built around moments of instinct and sensation. As the fifth installment in the "GOLDEN HOUR" series, which centers on inner impulses, the new release expands the narrative further than earlier chapters. Title track "BAD" is a Brazilian funk song that channels raw emotion and heat. The album carries five tracks across different genres, including "BAD," "MAMACITA," "TOXIN," "Fallin'," and "Body."

ATEEZ will roll out its pre-release promotional content in stages. Character posters arrive June 22, followed by a music video poster on June 23 and music video teasers on June 24 and 25. The group will then headline British Summer Time Hyde Park, a major music festival in London, on June 28.

From July 17 to 19, ATEEZ will hold a domestic fan meeting titled "ATINY'S VOYAGE : TINY MYSTERY," before heading to Japan to meet local fans from August 4 to 6.

ATEEZ's 14th EP "GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5" drops June 26 at 1 p.m. KST across music platforms.
