SEVENTEEN's new sub-unit V8, made up of members THE 8 and Vernon, is rolling out more visual teasers ahead of its debut EP.

On Thursday, V8 posted "CHECK OUT" version concept films and photos for its first EP, "V8," across SEVENTEEN's official social media channels. The content plays on the version's name, showing the two members taking in their surroundings as they move through a freewheeling journey.

The visuals lean into playful contrasts. In one scene, the members wear robes paired with sunglasses. In another, they dig into food inside a busy kitchen. The vintage-style footage is meant to capture the members in an unpolished, in-the-moment state, while a synth-driven score sets the tone underneath.

"V8," out June 29, is built around the theme of "spent youth." The EP traces a period of wandering and confusion in the past and the growth that follows. The duo led the project from the inside, working with a lineup of Korean and international producers that includes Pharrell Williams, KIRARA, Mechatok and Dylan Brady.

The promo rollout has been steady. After the earlier concept teaser film "peek at V8," snippets of new tracks recently surfaced through the personal social media accounts of contributing artists, drawing attention from music fans. V8 will hold a DJ-style pre-listening party on June 28, the day before the EP drops.

V8 also has solo concerts lined up after release. "2026 VERNON THE 8 [V8] LIVE - HONG KONG," set for July 17 to 19 at AsiaWorld-Expo Hall 10 in Hong Kong, sold out on the first day of ticket sales. The tour officially opens a week earlier, on July 11 and 12, at Hall 1 of KINTEX Exhibition Center 1 in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province.
