Hearts2Hearts Gains Global Momentum Ahead of 'Lemon Tang' Comeback
Hearts2Hearts is showing growing global momentum ahead of its summer comeback, climbing into the upper ranks of the K-POPIT BOARD after spending much of the week outside the Top 10.
According to K-POPIT BOARD, the K-POP analytics index, Hearts2Hearts climbed to No. 2 on the global rise chart on Friday with a Power Index (PWR_GL) score of 56.0. The group was outside the upper tier of the rankings only a week ago, placing No.8 before surging into the Top 3 within days. The Power Index combines data from music charts, social media activity and news coverage to measure overall momentum.
The rise comes just days before the release of the group's second EP, "Lemon Tang," on June 22. While Hearts2Hearts remained outside the Top 10 earlier this week, anticipation for the comeback accelerated as teasers and promotional content generated increasing discussion across social media and online communities.
The comeback marks the group's second mini-album release since debuting under SM Entertainment in February 2025. Hearts2Hearts has gradually expanded its overseas presence through releases such as "STYLE" and "RUDE!," with the latter helping strengthen the group's recognition among international audiences.
Much of the recent attention has centered on the concept of "Lemon Tang." Beach-themed visuals, lemon-inspired imagery and the trailer series "The LemonTang Syndrome" have generated strong online engagement.
At the same time, the repeated use of lemon motifs across SM Entertainment artists has become a topic of discussion among fans. Coming shortly after aespa's "LEMONADE" promotions, Hearts2Hearts' comeback has prompted conversations about whether the company is developing a broader seasonal visual theme. While some fans noted the overlap, most reactions have been lighthearted, with many viewing the two comebacks as distinct takes on a shared summer motif.
Beyond online promotions, Hearts2Hearts has expanded its comeback campaign through offline events, including a pop-up store at The Hyundai Seoul and a one-day "Lemon Tang" themed event at a jjimjilbang, a traditional Korean bathhouse and sauna complex. The event draws on a play on words between the album title and the Korean phrase "lemon bath", reflecting the group's citrus-themed comeback concept.
The group's performance on K-POPIT BOARD suggests that overseas interest is growing faster than its domestic momentum. Although Hearts2Hearts remains outside the Korean Top 10, its rise on the global chart points to increasing international attention ahead of the release of "Lemon Tang."
