LNGSHOT to Headline NBA Rising Stars Invitational in Singapore
K-POP group LNGSHOT is heading to Singapore for one of the NBA's biggest youth events in the Asia-Pacific region.
The four-member act will serve as the headlining artist at the second NBA Rising Stars Invitational on the 28th at OCBC Arena in Kallang, Singapore.
The tournament, organized by the league, brings together boys' and girls' high school basketball teams from across the Asia-Pacific region. LNGSHOT, made up of members Oyul, Ryul, Woojin, and Lui, was invited to anchor the music side of the event.
The group's schedule in Singapore extends beyond the performance. Members will spend time with tournament participants and take part in an outreach program hosted by the event's official community partner, the Kareem Family Foundation. Meetings with local fans are also on the itinerary.
Through their agency MORE VISION, LNGSHOT said they are happy to connect with young players and fans across the Asia-Pacific region through the tournament. The group added that they want to cheer on a generation carving out its own path in Singapore.
Ed Winkle, NBA senior vice president of Asia growth and innovation, said LNGSHOT's involvement shows how the bond between the NBA and K-POP has grown stronger. He added that the energy of both worlds will combine to deliver a memorable experience for players and fans at the Singapore event.
The booking points to a broader pattern. As K-POP continues to expand across Southeast Asia, league-backed sports events have become another stage where younger acts can reach new audiences far beyond the traditional concert circuit.
