From ZEROBASEONE Center to AND2BLE Leader: Zhang Hao Opens Up in Singles
AND2BLE leader Zhang Hao is stepping into a softer, more reflective mode in his latest magazine feature. Singles magazine has released additional cuts from its July issue cover story with the singer, following an earlier set that drew strong reader interest.
The new images lean into a quieter kind of charisma. Shot in a book-in-book format, the pictorial catches Zhang Hao moving between restrained, thoughtful expressions, letting his presence carry each frame without any showy styling.
The accompanying interview goes further into his path as an artist. Originally trained as a classical violinist, Zhang Hao said watching GOT7 perform first pulled him toward K-pop and eventually pushed him to move to South Korea to chase a new career.
Looking back on his time on "Boys Planet," he admitted the experience still feels surreal. "Sometimes I look back and wonder how I got through it," he said. "The first stage in particular is the one that reminds me why I started."
Zhang Hao finished first on the 2023 Mnet survival show and debuted as the center of ZEROBASEONE. After roughly three years with the project group, he wrapped up those activities and, in March, chose not to re-sign with the original agency. He returned to his home label, YH Entertainment (formerly Yuehua), alongside Han Yu-jin, Kim Gyu-vin and Ricky, and re-debuted as part of the five-member group AND2BLE.
He also spoke about what he wants to accomplish as leader. "I want to make stages and music that all five of us are proud of," he said. "Going forward, I'd like to make music that can comfort someone, too."
He closed with a message for fans. "I hope our fans keep looking forward to the Zhang Hao of tomorrow," he said. "I'll keep showing a better version of myself to match everything they give us."
The group recently wrapped a three-night run of its show concert "2026 AND2BLE SHOW CONCERT : Welcome to Qurious" at Jamsil Arena in Seoul, held from June 19 to 21. An Asia tour is set to follow.
Zhang Hao's full pictorial and interview are available in the July issue of Singles magazine and on its official website.
