wave to earth Shares "babo" Teaser for Upcoming Album "bad pieces"

wave to earth has released a new preview video titled "babo" ahead of the band's upcoming album "bad pieces," which is scheduled for release on Aug. 7.

Published on the band's official social media channels on July 10, the teaser features member Kim Daniel playing guitar against the backdrop of a dark seaside landscape. Accompanied by soft string instrumentation, the clip offers a first glimpse into the atmosphere of the band's next project.

Following the video's release, fans speculated that the music featured may be an alternate version of the unreleased song "Hyang" ("Scent"), which wave to earth previously previewed during its performances at the Seoul Jazz Festival 2026 and a busking event in Singapore earlier this year.

The band's upcoming album, "bad pieces," takes inspiration from John Lennon and Yoko Ono's 1969 "Bed Peace" protest. According to the band, the record will incorporate new instruments and sounds, marking a shift in its musical direction.

Following the album's release, wave to earth will embark on "the pieces tour" beginning in September. The tour includes 30 concerts across North America, Asia, and Seoul, with performances scheduled at venues including Radio City Music Hall in New York and The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.

"bad pieces" will be released through digital music platforms on Aug. 7.
