BOYNEXTDOOR Lands No. 2 on Oricon Monthly Album Ranking With "HOME"
BOYNEXTDOOR continues its momentum in Japan as the group's first full-length album "HOME" reached No. 2 on Oricon's June Monthly Album Ranking.
According to the latest Oricon chart, "HOME" sold 170,902 copies in Japan during June, making it the best-selling K-pop album in the country for the month.
Released on June 8, the album also surpassed 1.08 million first-week sales on Hanteo Chart, becoming BOYNEXTDOOR's fourth consecutive million-selling release. In the United States, "HOME" debuted at No. 16 on the Billboard 200, marking the group's highest placement on the chart to date and its sixth consecutive entry.
The album's title track "VIRAL" also continued to gain traction domestically, becoming the only song released in June to enter Melon's monthly chart. Earlier this month, the track was also selected as an official cheer song for KBO Baseball League club LG Twins.
"HOME" aims to explore the members' experiences from their trainee years through their journey as BOYNEXTDOOR, with all six members participating in the songwriting process for the first time.
After all three shows sold out during the fan club pre-sale, the group will next embark on its first world tour, beginning with three concerts at KSPO DOME in Seoul from July 17 to 19.
