EVAN Wraps Up Solo Debut Promotions for 'RIDE OR DIE'

EVAN, a soloist and former member of the K-pop boy group ENHYPEN, has closed the promotional run for his debut single. His final music show stage aired July 12 on SBS "Inkigayo," wrapping official activity for "RIDE OR DIE."

Speaking to fans on the global fan platform Weverse, EVAN thanked his fandom, known as EVER. "I was able to close out promotions well thanks to EVER," he said. "I'll keep working to be an EVAN who delivers good energy."

EVAN released the single on June 22, marking his first step as a solo artist. He took part in writing, composing, and producing every track, and also joined the visual creative work, pulling his own tone across the project.

During the promotional cycle he moved between music shows, the outdoor busking series "The Fillin' Live with EVAN," KBS2's "The Seasons - Sung Si Kyung's Eardrum Boyfriend," and radio programs. Across those stages he showed two sides of his voice, pairing the title track "Ride or Die" with the B-side "Overflow."

The numbers followed. "Ride or Die" hit No. 1 on Bugs' real-time chart shortly after release and reached No. 5 on Melon's Hot 100, tracking songs released within the past 30 days. It also topped the iTunes Top Songs chart in nine countries and regions and led the weekly Korea chart on China's Tencent Music. The music video crossed 10 million views on YouTube in about 44 hours and reached No. 9 on the platform's global daily trending music videos chart. It also entered the daily trending music videos top 10 in Singapore, the United Kingdom, Canada, the United States, and Germany.

The end of promotions does not mean a break. EVAN will perform at "2026 SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer" on August 9. He then travels to Los Angeles for the Grammy Museum's special program "Spotlight" on August 14 local time, followed by a set at "KCON LA 2026" on August 16.

Before those stages, he steps behind the mic in a different way. EVAN will serve as special DJ for MBC FM4U's "Chinhanchingu Broadcasting" from July 13 through 15.

The run marks a clean first chapter for a member stepping out on his own. With chart entries across Asia, Europe, and North America and a U.S. trip already booked, EVAN's debut single sets up a solo path that reaches well beyond his group's home base.
