HYBE has officially introduced the name of its newest girl group, TUIDE, giving fans their first official look at the rookie act ahead of its debut later this year.

The company opened TUIDE's official social media accounts at midnight on July 20, along with a logo motion video introducing the group's name. The seven-member multinational team will be the first artist to debut under ABD, HYBE's new label focused on girl groups.

TUIDE's name comes from the phrase "Tune the tide," representing the group's goal of bringing together different personalities and influences to create something new. The group is being produced by Han Sung-soo, the founder of PLEDIS Entertainment, who has played a key role in the success of acts including SEVENTEEN, After School, IZ*ONE and TWS.

The reveal quickly sparked excitement online. Fans welcomed the group with messages of support, while new fan accounts appeared across platforms within hours of the announcement. International interest has also been strong, particularly in Japan and Brazil, as fans eagerly await more details.

Much of the early discussion has centered on the reported lineup, including Seoyeon, who is widely known to be the younger sister of TWICE's Jihyo. Others have praised the group's branding and expressed curiosity about the music and concept teased through ABD's earlier promotional videos.
