SEVENTEEN's Dino Turns Love Guru as Alter Ego Pichul-in
SEVENTEEN's Dino transforms into his alter ego Pichul-in, and this time he is playing matchmaker. The music video teaser for "Crazy Crazy," the second pre-release from Pichul-in's first mini album, dropped on the 21st through the HYBE LABELS YouTube channel and SEVENTEEN's official social media.
In the clip, Pichul-in reinvents himself as a fixer for people's love troubles. He picks up couples in a taxi covered in dating aphorisms and steps in to mediate between people caught in love triangles.
A flyer that pops up at the end of the video sets up the joke. It bills Pichul-in as the author of a book titled "Go Crazy for Love" and promotes a special lecture, with a retro design and playful copy that build curiosity for the full video.
The teaser leans into a Korean retro mood throughout. Styling swings between denim jackets and tracksuits, while a brightly colored taxi and a set that recalls an old-school Korean dabang cafe pull the visuals together into Pichul-in's own world.
"Crazy Crazy" was first previewed on the 12th during a celebratory stage on KBS1's long-running singing show "Korea Sings" (Jeonguk Norae Jarang). The track was co-produced by Bumzu, a longtime collaborator on many of SEVENTEEN's biggest songs. Dino also joined in writing the lyrics and composing the music. The song will be released on the 22nd at 6 p.m. KST across major music platforms.
Pichul-in's first mini album, "Gilboard," is set to drop next month on the 3rd at 6 p.m. KST.
