DAY6's Young K Sells Out Incheon Shows to Launch Solo Tour

Young K of K-POP band DAY6 has sold out the Incheon shows that will open his upcoming solo tour.

The bassist and vocalist will hold "Young K Solo Tour <YOUNGEST>" over three nights at Inspire Arena in Incheon. Pre-sales opened on the 20th for the sixth generation of his official fan club, My Day, and all three dates sold out quickly.

The run marks his first headline concert in South Korea in about three years, following his debut solo show "Young K Solo Concert <Letters with notes>" in September 2023. After Incheon, the tour will continue through Bangkok, Taipei, Hong Kong, Singapore, Manila and Kuala Lumpur.

Ahead of the tour, Young K will release his second full-length album, "YOUNGEST," on the 27th. Since the 17th, his official social media accounts have been rolling out a content series called "Key of the YOUNGEST," which pairs objects shaped like keys with moments from the life of Kang Young-hyun, the singer's given name. Childhood memories, early dreams and present-day snapshots are tied to the new songs, building anticipation for the release.

"YOUNGEST" is described as the album that feels most like Young K and most like Kang Young-hyun. It contains 15 tracks in total, and Young K took part in writing and composing every song, including the title track "Shut The Door."

The album will drop on the 27th at 6 p.m. KST across major music platforms.
