ZEROBASEONE's Kim Tae-rae Joins Sanullim's 50th Anniversary Project with "Reminiscence"

ZEROBASEONE's Kim Tae-rae is lending his voice to Sanullim's 50th anniversary tribute project with a remake of the band's classic song "Reminiscence."

Originally released in 1982 as the title track of Sanullim's eighth studio album Bird, Fly Away (Saeya Nara), "Reminiscence" has remained one of the band's best-known rock ballads. The re-make of the track will be released on July 23 at 6 p.m. KST on major streaming platforms as part of the ongoing project.

Kim Tae-rae's version pairs his warm vocal tone with new arrangements featuring digital piano, synthesizers and percussion while aiming to preserve the emotional atmosphere of the original.

Speaking about the project, Tae-rae said he wanted to retain the sentiment and lingering emotion of the original song while conveying its message in his own voice.

The remake marks another solo project for the ZEROBASEONE main vocalist, who has previously contributed to several drama soundtracks alongside the group's activities.

"Reminiscence" will be available on all major streaming platforms beginning July 23 at 6 p.m. KST.
