A shirt worn by BTS member Jimin during the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show has become the joint top-selling lot in a charity auction, underscoring the high demand for memorabilia associated with the group.

Christie's announced on July 29 that its seven-day online charity sale, "One Goal: An Auction to Benefit the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund," raised a total of $652,630. Bidders from 24 countries took part in the auction.

Jimin's performance shirt sold for $110,000, matching the price paid for the official ball used in the World Cup final. The two items were the highest-priced lots in the sale.

The winning bid was nearly 37 times the shirt's low estimate of $3,000 and well above its estimated range of $3,000 to $5,000.

Items worn by the six other BTS members also attracted strong bidding. The seven pieces worn during the group's performance of "Dynamite" sold for a combined $300,300, accounting for about 46% of the auction's total proceeds.

V's scarf and Jung Kook's jacket each sold for $46,200. SUGA's pants fetched $33,000, followed by J-Hope's gloves at $28,600. RM's boots sold for $19,800, while Jin's belt brought in $16,500.

Several BTS items sold for more than memorabilia associated with other prominent figures in sports and entertainment. A signed Argentina jersey from Lionel Messi sold for $66,000, while Madonna's fingerless gloves fetched $41,800. A pair of sneakers worn by Justin Bieber sold for $26,400.

All proceeds from the auction will support the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund. The initiative aims to expand access to education and sport for children in underserved communities and provide funding to grassroots organizations around the world.

The auction results reflected the strong market for BTS memorabilia. The group's seven items generated nearly half of the total raised in a sale featuring pieces connected to some of the biggest names in global sports and entertainment.
