SHINee's Onew to Make Taipei Dome Debut at Fubon Guardians' Baseball Event
K-pop boy group SHINee's Onew is heading to Taipei Dome.
Onew will perform at the Fubon Guardians' "Fubon Guardians High School" event on September 6, joining one of Taiwan's biggest annual baseball-meets-entertainment festivals.
The appearance comes at the invitation of Fubon Ent & Sports Ent. "Fubon Guardians High School" is a signature yearly event hosted by the Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL) team Fubon Guardians. Built around a school concept, the festival blends live baseball with concert-style performances and on-site fan activities.
It will be Onew's first time performing at Taipei Dome. He is expected to lean on the steady live vocals and emotional delivery that have long defined his solo work.
Onew has been ramping up his overseas schedule in recent months. Between solo concerts, fan meetings, and one-off international stages, he has been widening his reach with global fans. He will hold his solo concert "2026 ONEW CONCERT [ONEW THE LIVE : Q]" in Tokyo on September 22 and 23, followed by three nights in Seoul from October 30 through November 1.
Before that, a pop-up store titled "ONEW OFFICIAL CHARACTER 'JJING-NYANG' PAJAMA PARTY POP-UP STORE" will run August 15 through 21 on the third floor of Times Square in Seoul's Yeongdeungpo district. The space will feature merchandise built around Onew's official characters Jjing-nyang, Jjing-meogi, and Jjing-jeu, along with exclusive perks available only at the pop-up.
The stretch of activity underscores how Onew is building a solo footprint that reaches well past his home base, using live stages, character IP, and cross-genre events to stay in front of fans across Asia.
