BOYNEXTDOOR Reveals Fall Plans: 8/18 Japan Single, 9/28 Repackage

K-pop boy group BOYNEXTDOOR used its Busan tour stop to lay out a packed second half of the year. The group announced a new Japanese single for Aug. 18 and its first full-album repackage for Sept. 28.

BOYNEXTDOOR, made up of Sungho, Riwoo, Myung Jaehyun, Taesan, Leehan, and Woonhak, held "BOYNEXTDOOR TOUR 'KNOCK ON Vol.2' IN BUSAN" at Sajik Indoor Gymnasium in Busan from July 31 to Aug. 2.

During the show, the members told the crowd, "We'll release our second Japanese digital single on Aug. 18, and on Sept. 28 we'll meet more fans with a repackage of our first full-length album."

The Japanese single marks the group's first new release in Japan in roughly a year, since August 2024. Its first world tour then heads to Japan, starting with three nights at K-Arena Yokohama in Kanagawa from Aug. 21 to 23 under the banner "BOYNEXTDOOR TOUR 'KNOCK ON Vol.2' IN JAPAN."

The Busan setlist opened with "06070" and moved through tracks including "VIRAL" and "Hollywood Action." The six members worked the stage from end to end, mixing choreography with live vocals. Fan singalongs swelled loudest during "I Feel Good" and "Earth, Wind & Fire," the group's 2024 hit.

"The line about Busan being a city of romance really hits here. The energy from ONEDOOR is so intense," the group said, referring to its fandom name. "We're really glad we got to perform in Busan after Seoul. We thought hard and prepared hard to leave you with memories you won't forget. Thank you for being with us, and we want to keep being happy alongside ONEDOOR."

After Busan, BOYNEXTDOOR moves straight into the Japan leg of the tour. The run travels from Kanagawa to Saga, Osaka, Miyagi, and Nagano. Following the repackage release, the group will return to domestic promotions in South Korea before closing out the Japan tour with shows in Chiba on Oct. 10 and 11.
