i-dle Delivers 'Mono' at Lollapalooza: "Doesn't Matter Where You Are or Who You Are"
K-POP group i-dle has closed out its run at Lollapalooza, one of the largest music festivals in the United States. The five-member group performed a roughly 60-minute set on the T-Mobile Stage at Grant Park in Chicago on July 31, local time.
The lineup featured all five members: Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, and Shuhua.
The group opened with a band-arranged version of "Super Lady," giving one of its signature tracks a rock-leaning edge. From there, the set moved through 16 songs in total, including "TOMBOY," "Queencard," and "Fate." The group also performed "Gimme Dat Love" and "Crow" from its ninth mini-album "We made," released in July.
The Chicago show also marked the live debut of "Morning," another track from "We made." The song has recently climbed the top ranks of the daily YouTube Shorts trending chart in South Korea.
"Wherever you are, whoever you are, I hope we can all become one and enjoy this music together," Soyeon told the crowd before the group closed the set with "Mono (Feat. skaiwater)."
The response online was immediate. Shortly after the performance, the hashtag #IDLEPALLOOZA climbed into the top trends on global social media. At the venue, fans turned out with official light sticks and outfits recreated from the group's music videos, giving the festival crowd the feel of a dedicated K-pop show.
With Lollapalooza behind them, i-dle will now wrap its world tour with two nights at Galaxy Arena in Macau on August 29 and 30, billed as "2026 i-dle WORLD TOUR 'Syncopation' IN MACAU."
For a group that broke through on the strength of tracks written and produced from within, a major U.S. festival slot marks another step in i-dle's move from K-pop chart fixture to a name that travels on the global festival circuit.
