NEXZ Brings the Flavor With 'SAUCIN'' Comeback on Aug. 24

JYP Entertainment boy group NEXZ is set to return with a new album later this month. The group's agency announced that NEXZ will release "SAUCIN'" on August 24 at 6 p.m. KST.

NEXZ, which consists of Tomoya, Yu, Haru, So Gon, Seita, Hui, and Yuki, revealed the first trailer for "SAUCIN'" through the group's official social media on the 3rd, kicking off the comeback rollout.

The trailer shows the seven members reimagined as farmers. Inside a greenhouse, they harvest tomatoes, lemons, and kiwis, then crush the fruit by hand to create sauces in a range of colors. The imagery ties directly into the album's title concept.

"SAUCIN'" arrives roughly four months after the group's second single "Mmchk," released in April. That single set a new first-week sales record for NEXZ, and its title track of the same name reached No. 1 on the real-time chart of the Korean music platform Bugs. It also earned the group its first music show win since debut.

The album title combines the word "sauce" with the "-ing" suffix. The idea is that the music, like a mix of sauces, will fold together different moods and shades.

NEXZ has stayed active on the touring side as well. In June, the group wrapped its first Japan arena run, "NEXZ LIVE TOUR 2026 "Hellmate"." It also held a global showcase series, "NEXZ GLOBAL SHOWCASE EVENT Mmchk : Not Typical," across five cities: Seoul, Taipei, Hong Kong, Bangkok, and Singapore. In September, the group is set to perform at the Brazilian music festival Rock in Rio, followed by "STRAYCITY" stages in three cities across Latin America.
