Dayoung Teams Up With Jay Park for First-Ever Collaboration Single 'FLIRTY'

WJSN member Dayoung is set to release her first collaboration single, "FLIRTY," with Jay Park on Aug. 4, marking a new chapter in her solo career.

The digital single will be released at 6 p.m. KST and follows "What's a Girl to Do," released in April. Dayoung also participated in writing and composing the new track, continuing to establish her identity as a singer-songwriter while expanding her musical range through the collaboration.

"FLIRTY" is a pop song that captures the excitement and confidence of a budding romance. Built around groovy rhythms, guitar-driven instrumentation and polished pop melodies with touches of R&B and reggae, the song pairs Dayoung's bright, expressive vocals with Jay Park's laid-back delivery.

The release also marks Dayoung's first official collaboration since making her solo debut. Having steadily taken a more active role in the creative process behind her music, she uses the new single to showcase another side of her artistry while joining forces with one of Korea's most recognizable hip-hop and R&B artists.

With "FLIRTY," Dayoung looks to continue building her solo discography while introducing a fresh musical chemistry that fans have been anticipating since the collaboration was first teased.
