K-pop girl group BABYMONSTER is climbing the industry's power rankings on the strength of a new single and an ongoing world tour. On August 4, K-POPIT BOARD, a K-pop analytics platform, placed the group at No. 2 in its domestic power index and No. 3 globally.

BABYMONSTER scored 71.2 points on the domestic power index (PWR_KR) and 67.4 points on the global power index (PWR_GL). The rankings combine global streaming performance, social media activity, video consumption, fandom response, and media exposure.

The group's fandom metrics stood out. Its Fandom Health Index, which measures fandom loyalty and engagement, came in at 89.1. Its Viral Conversion Rate, which tracks how online buzz translates into actual consumption, hit 83.3 in both the domestic and global readings. The group's Media Attention Score landed at 81.8.

BABYMONSTER is currently on its second world tour. The group recently wrapped a show in Yokohama, Japan, and has upcoming dates in Chiba, Nagoya, and Osaka, along with a slot at the Japanese music festival "Summer Sonic 2026." The tour will continue on to major cities across Asia before moving to Oceania, Europe, North America, and South America. The steady overseas activity has helped keep global fans engaged and pushed video and content numbers up, which analysts point to as a driver of the group's global visibility.

At home, interest from outside the core fandom jumped sharply. The group's D-layer index, which measures attention beyond active fans, rose 449 percent from the previous week. BABYMONSTER released the music video for "MOON" on August 3. The video, built around a vampire concept with cinematic visuals, drew wide attention and pushed interest well past the group's usual fandom circles.

BABYMONSTER has leaned into a different concept with each release, from "CHOOM" to "SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA" to "I LIKE IT" and now "MOON." YG Entertainment plans to keep the momentum going with a performance video for "MOON," set for release on August 5.
