BIGBANG is marking its 20th anniversary with a large-scale media exhibition in Seoul. The show will trace two decades of music and fan history through immersive technology.

YG Entertainment announced that it has partnered with global entertainment-tech company Creative MUT to present "BIGBANG 20TH ANNIVERSARY MEDIA EXHIBITION 'COSMOS'." The exhibition is part of a broader 20th anniversary project that also includes a Han River event with fireworks and a drone show, along with the world tour "XX : COSMOS." The group is composed of G-DRAGON, Taeyang and Daesung.

"COSMOS" will run in two parts across central Seoul. A prequel exhibition opens at Lotte World Tower in Jamsil, followed by the main exhibition at K-Culture Station–dududo SEOUL, a cultural space built inside an unused underground area between City Hall Station and Euljiro 1-ga Station on the Seoul subway.

The title takes its name from the idea of a universe linking past, present and future. The teaser poster released alongside the announcement uses silhouettes shaped by light and shadow, along with an infinity-shaped logo, to reflect the theme.

Creative MUT, which is producing the exhibition, previously staged G-DRAGON's solo media exhibition "Übermensch." For "COSMOS," the company will use AI, real-time holograms, XR and VR, and 3D motion graphics to build out the space.

The main venue is notable in its own right. K-Culture Station–dududo SEOUL is a roughly 33,000-square-foot complex created through a Seoul city program that repurposes unused underground space. Creative MUT plans to use the venue as a base and eventually take the exhibition on an overseas tour, starting from Seoul.

Admission to the prequel exhibition at Lotte World Tower is free. Advance registration opens on the 7th through Naver's reservation service. Full schedule details will be shared through BIGBANG's official fan platform bstage and the exhibition's official social media accounts.

Two decades in, BIGBANG remains one of the few K-pop acts whose legacy warrants a museum-scale treatment. "COSMOS" is a bet that the group's history is now big enough to fill a room, and a city.
