K-Pop Rookie TUNEXX Sets September Comeback
Rookie K-pop boy group TUNEXX is coming back in September. It will be the group's first release since their debut about six months earlier.
IST Entertainment, the group's agency, confirmed on August 5 that TUNEXX will drop a new album in September. Specific details about the album will be shared in the weeks ahead.
TUNEXX is the newest boy group from IST Entertainment, the label behind Apink, VICTON, and THE BOYZ. The seven-member lineup includes Donggyu, Inhu, Taira, Sungjun, Zeon, Sihwan, and Artic. They debuted in March with their first mini album, "SET BY US ONLY." The group's name carries the idea of pushing past fixed boundaries and expanding into their own territory.
Since debut, the group has kept in close contact with fans through content on their official YouTube channel. That has included a self-produced reality series called "Nansaeng Cheoeum: TUNEXX's First Moments" and a behind-the-scenes program titled "TUNESIDE."
TUNEXX is now in the final stretch of preparations for the new release. The comeback arrives as IST Entertainment's newest act tries to build on the momentum from their debut earlier this year.
