THE BOYZ's Sunwoo Signs With AT AREA for Solo Activities

THE BOYZ member Sunwoo has found a new agency for his individual career, signing an exclusive contract with hip-hop label AT AREA.

A representative from AT AREA confirmed the signing, telling K-POPIT that the label had finalized an exclusive contract with Sunwoo. The agency will oversee his solo activities, while he continues group promotions with THE BOYZ under the group's newly established label.

Sunwoo debuted with THE BOYZ in 2017 and has established himself as one of the group's versatile members, contributing as a rapper while also showcasing his vocal and performance skills. Before his debut, he gained attention as a contestant on Mnet's "High School Rapper," and earlier this year appeared on "Show Me the Money 12," where he featured on the track "Kiss Kiss Kiss," which performed strongly on Korean music charts. He has also participated in songwriting and composition for both THE BOYZ releases and his own music shared through SoundCloud.

The announcement comes a day after nine members of THE BOYZ confirmed they had signed with a newly established label for group promotions, while pursuing individual careers through separate agencies. Fellow member Younghoon also recently signed with Namoo Actors for his solo activities.
