Stray Kids Ready to Do 'This & That' on Comeback D-Day
K-pop group Stray Kids are back with a new mini-album.
The group release "THIS & THAT" on Aug. 7 at 1 p.m. KST across major music platforms. The project marks the group's first release in about nine months, following their SKZ IT TAPE "DO IT" last November.
The title track "This & That" is a groove-driven hip-hop song. It pairs a chill, cool atmosphere with a laid-back melody and carries a message about freely choosing what you want and going after it. Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han of the group's in-house production team 3RACHA wrote and composed the track.
The mini-album carries eight songs in total. The tracklist includes "RUN IT," built on brass and world-beat rhythms, and "After You," a progressive house track. There is also "FARMING," inspired by the gaming concept of grinding for items, the rock number "I Do," and the acoustic hip-hop track "Way Out." Rounding out the album are the band-sound song "Geunal" and "This & That (Festival Version)."
Stray Kids will continue their "Stray Kids World Tour" alongside the release. The group kicked off the tour with five sold-out shows at KSPO DOME in Seoul. On Aug. 29 and 30, they will perform at Tokyo's National Stadium, becoming the first overseas male artist to hold a solo concert at the venue.
