THE BOYZ's Eric Signs With GRID Entertainment for Individual Activities

THE BOYZ member Eric has signed an exclusive contract with GRID Entertainment as he prepares to expand his individual career while continuing activities with the group.

GRID Entertainment announced the deal Aug. 10, saying it plans to support Eric across music and other areas as he explores new opportunities as an artist.

Since debuting as the youngest member of THE BOYZ in 2017, Eric has gradually broadened his work beyond performing. In addition to contributing to rap-making and lyrics, he took on his first regular radio DJ role with "Idol Radio Season 4" last year. His work on the program earned him the rookie award in the radio category at the 2025 MBC Entertainment Awards.

Eric said his experience with THE BOYZ has given him a foundation for the next stage of his career, adding that GRID Entertainment's musical direction and production vision aligned with what he hopes to pursue.

The move comes as THE BOYZ reorganizes its activities, with members signing separate contracts for individual work while maintaining the group's nine-member lineup.
