NCT 127 Previews 'Piñata' Ahead of First Live Performance at KCON LA

NCT 127 has unveiled a track video for "Piñata," a B-side from its upcoming seventh full-length album, "BLINGY."

Released Aug. 11, the video expands on the group's "Seoul troubleshooters" concept through a youth noir-inspired story. The members take on various missions across the city before misunderstandings create tension within the group. Their eventual reunion puts friendship and solidarity at the center of the storyline.

"Piñata" blends rock and hip-hop, pairing distorted electric guitar with funky bass and breakbeat drums. Explosive guitar solos and rap chants give the track its restless energy, while the lyrics express NCT 127's confidence in turning the stage into a celebration.

The accompanying performance draws from old-school hip-hop, with choreography designed to highlight both individual members and the group's chemistry. A chant-heavy chorus also leaves room for the audience to join in.

NCT 127 will perform "Piñata" live for the first time at KCON LA 2026 on Aug. 14. "BLINGY," featuring nine tracks, arrives Aug. 24.
