KATSEYE Returns With Third EP 'WILD'

KATSEYE is back with its third EP, "WILD," released Aug. 14.

The five-track project sees the group move across Brazilian phonk, dance-pop, EDM and contemporary pop while exploring freedom, instinct and embracing different sides of oneself.

Leading the EP is "Hootie Frutti," an energetic track built around Brazilian phonk-inspired percussion, heavy drums and bright pop production. Its music video, set for release at 1 p.m. KST, matches that energy with bold colors, carnival-inspired imagery and a performance that leans into KATSEYE's more uninhibited side.

"WILD" also includes previously released singles "PINKY UP" and "Animal," alongside new tracks "Bel Air" and "That Way." The album brings together a notable production lineup that includes Bang Si-hyuk, Ed Sheeran, Omer Fedi, Blake Slatkin, Patrik Berger and Johnny Goldstein.

The release arrives with KATSEYE already carrying chart momentum. "PINKY UP" peaked at No. 28 on the Billboard Hot 100, while "Animal" debuted at a career-best No. 24 earlier this month.
