TWICE's Chaeyoung and Zion.T Spark Breakup Rumors After 2-Year Romance
TWICE member Chaeyoung and singer-producer Zion.T are facing breakup rumors after more than two years of dating.
A South Korean outlet reported on Aug. 14 that the two had ended their relationship, saying their busy schedules had caused them to grow apart.
Chaeyoung's agency, LIL FANTASY, did not confirm the report. "It concerns the artist's private life, so it is difficult to confirm," a representative said.
Chaeyoung and Zion.T went public with their relationship in April 2024. At the time, both sides confirmed they were dating, saying they were "seeing each other with mutual affection." The two, who have a 10-year age gap, were reportedly introduced through a mutual acquaintance and later developed a romantic relationship. The breakup report comes about two years and four months after they made their relationship public.
Chaeyoung, 27, debuted as a member of TWICE in 2015 and has performed on hits including "Like OOH-AHH," "CHEER UP" and "TT." She recently signaled a new chapter in her solo career. On Aug. 13, she said she plans to "build music activities in my own world of 'LIL FANTASY.'" She has left JYP Entertainment to pursue her individual career independently while continuing group activities with TWICE.
Zion.T, 37, debuted in 2011 with "Click Me" and went on to release songs including "Yanghwa BRDG," "Eat," "No Make Up," "Sorry" and "Snobbish." He also appeared as a producer on Mnet's "Show Me the Money" series. In August 2022, he founded the creative company Standard Friends, which he now runs while continuing his own music career.
